Tyreek Hill, the wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, in a recent interview with Sports Radio 810 WHB, revealed his plans of leaving the NFL by the year 2025. His exact words were:
‘I’m going for 10, man. I’m gonna finish out this contract with the Dolphins and then I’m gonna call it quits,”
Moreover, he showed interest in joining the business side of the game after retiring from the NFL.
“I want to go into the business side, I want to do so many things in my life, bro.’
“So, I really want to get into like the gaming space, I really want to get huge in that and that’s kind of what I’m doing right now. I’m using my platform, creating a gaming team that hasn’t launched yet.”
This news has shocked NFL fans to the core. Being a 29-year-old athlete, who is at the peak of his career, and wants to quit at this stage is really shocking to everyone. He might change his mind but for now, as per his words, he will leave the NFL after the 10th season. However, it will somehow be a poetic coincidence that a player wearing a No. 10 jersey will end his career after 10 years.
